Christmas Dinner Arrangements Made
Be sure to save the date for Raymond's in Lorena again this year

The meeting for July 2009 was called to order July 11th in the historic Moody Depot by Club President Wiley Starnes at 10:31.

The minutes for June 2009 were presented. A motion was made by Trace Bowen and seconded by Bill Lancaster to accept the minutes as read. The motion passed. The Treasurer’s report was submitted, read, and accepted.

Old Business

The RRHM is asking for volunteers to operate their hand cars. See the museum for details.

Bill Lancaster asked members to see him to exchange their key to the depot for a new one. He also reported that the Temple Mall is has display space available the last two weekend in August. The exact space is yet to be determined. Display times would be from 1000-1800 on Saturday and from 1200-1700 on Sunday.

Building Committee – Ed Neill reported he had contacted an electrician to repair an outlet for the O scale layout and add a new outlet for the HO layout.

Train Show – Jim Bush reported he has only four vendor tables left to sell. He also has copies of committee schedules for anyone that needs one. Ed Neill said he has pre-sale tickets available.

Wiley Starnes announced that the Christmas dinner will be held at 1830 on 12/3 at Raymond’s in Lorena. Additional guests are $12.50 each and payable directly to Raymond’s the night of the dinner.

New Business

Wiley Starnes reported that Bradley Linda has volunteered to serve as Assistant Secretary.

Wiley Starnes announced that Chick-fil-A will be hosting an event on 7/18 at the RRHM. See the museum for details.

The HO group will be holding an operating session on 7/18.

Trace Bowen made a motion to adjourn and JC Fischer seconded. The club adjourned at 10:46.

CentraMod is a model railroad club located in Temple, Texas. Meetings are typically held each month on the first and third Saturday at the historic Santa Fe Moody Depot. The club's modular layouts can be viewed at various times throughout the year at train shows throughout central Texas. The club has also hosted the Temple Model Train Show for the last 25 years.
